Volleyball Recap: Nine Straight Road Wins for Barrow

Barrow hadn't done well against Seward recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Whalers had just enough and edged out the Seahawks 1-0. For the Whalers, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Seahawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Barrow who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-18.

Barrow pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Seward, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Barrow beat the Seahawks by a score of 2-0 later that day.
