Softball Recap: Tri-County Penguins vs. Wild Rose Wildcats
Sadly, Tri-County is still looking for their first win of the season after four games. Their rough 17-0 loss to the Wild Rose Wildcats on Monday might stick with them for a while. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Tri-County of the 9-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
Tri-County's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Wild Rose, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
Tri-County will head out on the road to challenge Port Edwards at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Port Edwards will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Tri-County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wild Rose, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-1 victory vs. Tigerton on the 16th.
