While Springtown's victory against Eagle Mountain wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Porcupines beat the Knights by a goal, winning 1-0. That's two games straight that Springtown have won by just one goal.

The win made it two in a row for Springtown and bumps their season record up to 7-2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Eagle Mountain, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Springtown will challenge rival Lake Dallas at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Eagle Mountain is set to take on their familiar foe Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
