Volleyball Recap: Orestimba Comes Up Short

Orestimba was the 3-2 winner over Hilmar when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Orestimba actually scored more points across those five sets (105-90), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 16-25, 8-25, 16-14.

Orestimba's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Hilmar, they moved to 6-18 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Orestimba is set to challenge their familiar foe Big Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Hilmar will face off against rival Ripon Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
