Recap: Green Hope Falcons vs. Apex Cougars
The Green Hope Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top against Apex by a score of 71-64. The victory was some much needed relief for Green Hope as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Mason Dean was on fire: he scored 38 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Justin Jackson was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Green Hope's victory ended a 12-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-12. As for Apex, they bumped their record down to 4-10 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Green Hope's road trip will continue as they head out to face Cary at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Cary is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Apex, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Holly Springs at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Holly Springs presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Apex in North Carolina (Holly Springs is ranked 71st, while Apex is ranked 401st).
