Softball Game Preview: Diamond Bar Brahmas vs. Walnut Mustangs

Diamond Bar is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Walnut a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Diamond Bar Brahmas will be playing at home against the Walnut Mustangs at 3:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Diamond Bar lost 25-1 to Ayala on Wednesday.

Bonita hit Walnut with a nine-run third inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Mustangs came up short against the Bearcats, falling 11-3.

Peyton Schilz made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one run and one double.

Diamond Bar's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Walnut, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Diamond Bar came out on top in a nail-biter against Walnut in their previous meeting two weeks ago, sneaking past 2-0. Do the Brahmas have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
