Soccer Game Preview: Ludlow vs. Mason County

The Ludlow Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Mason County Royals at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ludlow will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Ludlow duked it out with Pendleton County on Monday. The Panthers never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. That's two games straight that Ludlow have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Mason County beat Calvary Christian 3-1 on Monday. Mason County haven't had any issues with Calvary Christian recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The win got Mason County back to even at 7-7. As for Ludlow, their record now sits at 8-6-3.

Ludlow suffered a grim 8-1 defeat to Mason County when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
