Fowler and Caruthers are an even 5-5 against one another  since November of 2015, but  not for long. The Redcats will head out to  challenge the Blue Raiders  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Fowler will be strutting in after a  win while Caruthers will be coming in after a  loss.

 Meanwhile, Caruthers was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat. They took a  blow against Chowchilla, falling  47-7. The Blue Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  27-0.
 The  win made it two in a row for Fowler and  bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 31.0 points over those games. As for Caruthers, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
 Everything came up roses for Fowler against Caruthers when the teams last played  back in November of 2024, as the  team secured  a  42-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Redcats since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
