Softball Recap: Cherryville Ironmen vs. Highland Tech Rams

In what's become a running theme this season, Cherryville gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Highland Tech Rams a 16-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Cherryville sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Krista Davis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Davis was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.
