Volleyball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington was the 2-0 winner over Unity Christian when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Knights on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Jade Jere paced Washington's offense, picking up seven kills. Jere got some help from Emily Akkerman and her 18 assists. Ivy Freesemann controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Unity Christian, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.

Washington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Sioux Center on the 18th. Unity Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
