Soccer Game Preview: Murray County vs. Ridgeland

The Murray County Indians will head out to face off against the Ridgeland Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Murray County put up the most goals they have all season last Friday. They blew past Rockmart 11-1. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Murray County's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, Ridgeland can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game last Friday. They put the hurt on Chattooga with a sharp 6-1 victory. That five goal margin sets a new team best for Ridgeland this season.

They hit Chattooga with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Maria Ronda (3), Kylie Thurman, Lilah Ronda, and Jaleigh Curtis.

Murray County's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Ridgeland, their victory bumped their record up to 3-11.
