Volleyball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Upson-Lee

Upson-Lee waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Luella Lions by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Upson-Lee was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12.

Amiya Cromer paced Upson-Lee's offense, picking up seven kills. Cromer got some help from Kaylin Gresham and her six assists. Cromer and Gresham didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with six apiece.

Upson-Lee now has a winning record of 17-16. As for Luella, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Coincidentally, Upson-Lee and Luella will both be playing Howard the next time they take the court. The Lions will host the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Knights will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
