Boston International unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Charlestown Townies on Thursday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for Boston International in their meetings with Charlestown: they've now lost three in a row.

Charlestown's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Boston International has already played their next contest (against Boston English), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Charlestown, they will take on Boston Latin Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
