Basketball Recap: Harrisburg Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cumberland Valley, Harrisburg was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Central Dauphin East Panthers by a score of 58-45. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 63-59 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Harrisburg's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Central Dauphin East, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Harrisburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 75-74 loss against Susquehanna Township on the 21st. As for Central Dauphin East, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Manheim Township at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. Manheim Township will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Central Dauphin East surely won't give up without a fight.
