The McClatchy Lions will face off against the Antelope Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Antelope will be up against a hot McClatchy team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Lions were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over Grant on Tuesday. With that win, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Jayeliza Rogers, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Jaydilyn Rogers was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
McClatchy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Antelope got the win against Cordova on Tuesday by a conclusive 15-5.
Layla Kelly made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Kelly was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Jillian Todd was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Another player making a difference was Deanna Richardson, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
McClatchy pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Antelope, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. McClatchy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .449.
