Basketball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton lost against St. Mary Catholic Central back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Clinton Redwolves came up short against the St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels, falling 69-46. While losing is never fun, the Redwolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 398th in Michigan, while the Falcons/Kestrels are ranked 171st in Michigan).

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for St. Mary Catholic Central, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-4.

Clinton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Mary Catholic Central, they are taking a road trip to square off against Whiteford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Whiteford will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something St. Mary Catholic Central surely won't give up without a fight.
