Softball Recap: Roland Park Country Takes a Loss

Roland Park Country fell victim to Maryvale Prep and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against Maryvale Prep, falling 18-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Reds in their meetings with Maryvale Prep: they've now lost five in a row.

Roland Park Country saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rory Miller, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. That double was Miller's first of the season.

Roland Park Country's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Maryvale Prep, their record now sits at 3-4.

Coming up, Roland Park Country will challenge Annapolis Area Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Maryvale Prep, they will take on St. John's Catholic Prep at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Maryvale Prep are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
