Basketball Recap: Parkville Takes a Loss

Parkville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Dundalk Owls, falling 45-21. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Owls apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Parkville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Dundalk, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-2.

Parkville will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kenwood at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Dundalk, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Pikesville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dundalk's defense has only allowed 26.5 points per game this season, so Pikesville's offense will have their work cut out for them.
