Softball Recap: Newburyport Clippers vs. Ipswich Tigers
Newburyport won the last time they faced Ipswich and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Clippers came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 13-10. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Clippers.
Lilah Thompson was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Isla DeVivo was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 4-for-5.
