Softball Recap: Pamlico County Hurricanes vs. Grassfield Grizzlies

On Saturday, it was a hard-fought match, but the Pamlico County Hurricanes had to settle for a 5-3 defeat against the Grassfield Grizzlies.

Peyton Robinson put in work while hitting and pitching. She pitched an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits (she also didn't allow any walks). Robinson was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Robinson wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Avery Cain, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
