Softball Recap: J.I. Burton Comes Up Short

J.I. Burton was the 12-1 winner over Shelby Valley when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Black Raiders lost 7-1 to the Wildcats on Tuesday. The Black Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

J.I. Burton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Shelby Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-10.

J.I. Burton has already played their next contest (against Thomas Walker), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Shelby Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Letcher County Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
