LeRoy won the last time they faced Heyworth and things went their way on Saturday too. The Panthers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hornets.
Despite the loss, Heyworth still got an impressive performance from Lyla Tate, who had 12 kills and 12 digs. Tate is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in each of the last 20 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Karissa Cook, who had 13 digs and one block.
LeRoy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8 record this season. As for Heyworth, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 23-10.
