Soccer Recap: Salem Comes Up Short

Salem lost against Charlestown back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions lost 9-0 to the Pirates.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Charlestown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salem will face off against Jeffersonville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Salem will be up against Jeffersonville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.55 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Charlestown, they will take on Silver Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
