Basketball Recap: South Vermillion Wildcats vs. Parke Heritage Wolves
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Vermillion can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 81-18 loss at the hands of the Parke Heritage Wolves. The loss leaves the Wildcats without a win on the season.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Chloe Richardson and Cambree Stivers, who each put up five points. Stivers also led the team in rebounds with four.
Emma Simpson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Parke Heritage, going 9 for 10 en route to 19 points in addition to seven assists and six steals. Simpson's evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Addilee Dawn Jenkins was another key player, going 5 of 7 on her way to 13 points and three steals.
