Basketball Recap: Nick High's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ola over Fayette County + How To Watch

The Ola Mustangs lost to the Fayette County Tigers on the road by a 66-49 margin on Tuesday.

Ola's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nick High, who went 6-for-15 on his way to 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Sahmele Goffin was another key player, putting up nine points.

Elijah Barksdale was a one-man wrecking crew For Fayette County. as he almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine boards. Those 21 points gave Barksdale a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan White, who shot 47% from the field en route to 19 points.

Ola's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Fayette County, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Ola will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Alcovy at 8:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Fayette County, they will host East Coweta at 7:30 p.m. on the 20th.
