Basketball Recap: Richford Beats Stowe for Their Seventh Straight Victory

Richford entered their tilt with Stowe on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They beat the Stowe Raiders by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 66-10. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-10 last Friday.

Richford is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.8 points per game. As for Stowe, they are on a 30-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Richford will square off against Twinfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Richford is on a four-game streak of home wins, Twinfield a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Stowe has already played their next contest (against Montpelier), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
