The Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Braves came tearing into Friday's match with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 63-49 victory over Indianapolis Bishop Chatard. Winning is a bit easier when you outrebound your opponent 21 to 11 on the offensive boards, as Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory did.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Audra Kendall out in front who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kendall has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Schafer, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Despite the defeat, Indianapolis Bishop Chatard saw an underclassman step up: Olivia Berzai dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. Berzai has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Alyx Kendall, who scored nine points.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory pushed their record up to 17-6 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.6 points per game. As for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-8.
