Softball Recap: Mountain View Wins Going Away Against Stafford

Mountain View barely beat Stafford the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 12-3 victory on Wednesday. Considering the Wildcats have won five matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Mountain View has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Stafford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.
