Basketball Game Preview: East Wake Warriors vs. South Johnston Trojans

The East Wake Warriors just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the South Johnston Trojans at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. East Wake will be strutting in after a win while South Johnston will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, East Wake humbled Southern Wayne with a 54-26 victory. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, South Johnston ended up a good deal behind Hunt on Friday and lost 59-43.

East Wake's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for South Johnston, they dropped their record down to 5-15 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

East Wake was able to grind out a solid victory over South Johnston in their previous meeting back in January, winning 48-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for East Wake since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
