Basketball Recap: David Fabre Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Harmony Christian

Abundant Life Academy lost to Harmony Christian back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. Abundant Life Academy took down the Harmony Christian Hawks 49-33. Abundant Life Academy pushed the score to 45-19 by the end of the third, a deficit Harmony Christian cut but never quite recovered from.

Abundant Life Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was David Fabre out in front who posted eight points in addition to 11 assists and six steals. Another player making a difference was Josh Amoah, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 13 points and seven boards.

Fabre wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Abundant Life Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Abundant Life Academy and bumps their season record up to 4-6. As for Harmony Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Abundant Life Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 53-46 win against American Christian School on the 15th. Harmony Christian has also already played their next game, a 41-40 defeat against Faith Christian on the 16th.
