Football Recap: Parrish Community Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Parrish Community extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 7-1. They came out on top against the Lennard Longhorns by a score of 14-6. The Bulls have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Longhorns, too.

Among those leading the charge was Brycen Volz, who threw for 170 yards and one touchdown while completing 81.8% of his passes. What's more, he racked up 152.7 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August. Nathan Schueller also deserves some recognition as he hauled in his first receiving touchdown of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lennard fell to 7-1. The contest marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lennard lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was London Green, who picked up 87 receiving yards and one TD.

Parrish Community wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 29-10 victory against Lakewood Ranch on the 24th. As for Lennard, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 31-6 defeat against Palmetto on the 24th.
