Volleyball Recap: River Bluff Takes Down Ranked Nation Ford + How To Watch

River Bluff faced Nation Ford in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Gators came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Gators, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Caroline Brownlee was the offensive standout of the game as she had 15 digs and five assists. Those five assists gave her a new career-high.

The victory made it two in a row for River Bluff and bumps their season record up to 6-2. As for Nation Ford, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3.

Looking ahead, River Bluff will head out on the road to square off against Porter-Gaud at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. After both having extra time off, Nation Ford and Northwestern will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
