Hazen is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Monday. They will head out to take on the Inglemoor Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Hazen is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Hazen's last matchup with Juanita could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. Hazen came up short against Juanita, falling 10-4. The Highlanders haven't had much luck with the Ravens recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Hazen saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Curry, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. What's more, Curry posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Joey Rubino also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last contest, Inglemoor made sure to put some runs up on the board against Mercer Island on Monday. Inglemoor was the clear victor by a 10-2 margin over Mercer Island.

Hazen's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Inglemoor, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
