Football Recap: Piedmont Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Piedmont Academy played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Lakeview Academy Lions 34-7. The Cougars were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Kyari Burch was nothing short of spectacular for Lakeview Academy: he rushed for 95 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 194 yards and one TD. A healthy portion of that aerial production (98 yards to be exact) went to Nesean Dorsey.

Piedmont Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lakeview Academy, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Piedmont Academy will venture away from home to square off against Baconton Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakeview Academy, they will head out to challenge Towns County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
