Baseball Game Preview: Naperville North Huskies vs. Plainfield North Tigers

Naperville North hasn't had much luck against Plainfield North recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Huskies will welcome the Tigers at 11:00 a.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Thursday, Naperville North came up short against DeKalb and fell 5-1. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Naperville North saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Bava, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Plainfield North has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.93 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They came up short against Plainfield Central, falling 11-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Naperville North now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Plainfield North, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4.
