Soccer Game Preview: Poly vs. Patterson

The Poly Engineers will head out on the road to take on the Patterson Clippers at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Poly's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Poly managed to slip by Winters Mill the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Engineers came up short against the Falcons on Friday, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, Patterson came up short against Bel Air on Thursday and fell 3-1. The loss put an end to Patterson's undefeated start to the season.

Poly now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Patterson, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1-1.
