Softball Preview: Waterloo Vikings vs. Springfield Tigers
For the second straight game, Waterloo will face off against Springfield. The Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waterloo is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Waterloo and Springfield meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Vikings came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 7-3. The victory was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
