Football Recap: Mathias Valencia and Roberto Rivera Secure Win for Livingston

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Livingston). They took down the Beyer Patriots 31-14 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Leading Livingston to victory were Roberto Rivera and Mathias Valencia. Rivera rushed for 63 yards and three touchdowns, while Valencia rushed for 74 yards and one TD. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Rivera a new career-high.

Livingston didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Beyer to a completion percentage of just 31.2%. The Wolves weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 42.9%.

Although Beyer took the loss, they still got scores from Tanner Kulina and John Mustapha.

The victory made it two in a row for Livingston and bumps their season record up to 2-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.5 points over those games. As for Beyer, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.

Livingston wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 24-13 loss against Grace Davis on the 3rd. As for Beyer, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 41-21 defeat against Central Valley on the 3rd.
