Volleyball Recap: Gloucester Takes a Loss

If Gloucester was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Heritage on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dukes lost 3-0 to the Kecoughtan Warriors on Thursday. The Dukes have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-13.

Gloucester now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Kecoughtan, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gloucester will venture away from home to square off against Nansemond River at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Kecoughtan, they will head out to challenge Menchville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
