Volleyball Recap: Leyden Comes Up Short

Leyden and New Trier squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Leyden had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Trevians.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10.

Sarah Skorna paced Leyden's offense, picking up four kills. Skorna got some help from Aleksandra Manojlovic and her five assists.

Leyden's defeat dropped their record down to 11-26. As for New Trier, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-8.

Leyden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Trier, they will challenge Loyola Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trevians are facing the Ramblers at the right time seeing as the Ramblers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
