Basketball Game Preview: Oakridge Warriors vs. Trinity Lutheran Saints

The Oakridge Warriors are taking a road trip to challenge the Trinity Lutheran Saints at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Oakridge has given up an average of 59 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Tuesday, Oakridge took a blow against Bonanza, falling 64-35. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Antlers: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Trinity Lutheran had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Tuesday. They blew past the Raiders 78-23. That 55-point margin sets a new team best for the Saints this season.

Trinity Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Oakridge, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Oakridge was taken down by Trinity Lutheran 80-27 in their previous matchup back in February of 2025. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
