Baseball Recap: Vista Ridge Takes a Loss

Vista Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Ponderosa Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 12-9 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Vista Ridge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Teagan Reisdorfer, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Vista Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Ponderosa, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Vista Ridge will face off against Fountain-Fort Carson at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Trojans have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Ponderosa, they will take on ThunderRidge at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give the Mustangs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
