Mt. Shasta is 10-0 against Modoc since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Mt. Shasta Bears will head out on the road to take on the Modoc Braves at 8:30 p.m. Mt. Shasta will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Mt. Shasta made easy work of Fall River and carried off a 65-43 win. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Modoc's game on Friday was all tied up 25-25 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Etna by a score of 42-32.

Mt. Shasta better focus on containing Colin Jeffers and Chris Guasp as the pair were huge in Modoc's win. Jeffers posted ten points in addition to five rebounds and three steals, while Guasp put up 12 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Sutton Cockrell, who earned two points and six rebounds.

Modoc smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in seven consecutive contests.

Mt. Shasta pushed their record up to 12-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 21.2 points. As for Modoc, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.

Everything came up roses for Mt. Shasta against Modoc in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 65-36 victory. Does Mt. Shasta have another victory up their sleeve, or will Modoc turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
