Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Licking Valley). They never let Linden-McKinley get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but Licking Valley sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Licking Valley's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Linden-McKinley, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.
