A well-balanced attack led Mira Mesa over Point Loma in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Mira Mesa Marauders blew the Point Loma Pointers out of the water with an 82-40 final score. The Marauders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Point Loma still got an impressive performance from Grant Stewart, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Dorris, who posted seven points.

Mira Mesa's victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.4 points per game. As for Point Loma, with the loss, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-3.

Mira Mesa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 80-67 defeat against Cathedral Catholic on the 23rd. As for Point Loma, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 63-62 loss against Madison on the 24th.
