Football Recap: Orangewood Christian's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

After soaring to 37 points the game before, Orangewood Christian was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a 17-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ducks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Cornerstone Charter Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jackson Marsingill led the charge by picking up 144 receiving yards and one touchdown. Marsingill showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 50 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Orangewood Christian fell to 2-1. As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orangewood Christian will challenge Cambridge Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, they will face off against Keswick Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Ducks will need to watch out since the Crusaders have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
