Basketball Recap: Winamac Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Knox came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Winamac, but Kandace Kroft wouldn't allow it. The Winamac Warriors walked away with a 47-35 win over the Knox Redskins on Tuesday thanks in part to Kroft, who posted 21 points in addition to five assists and four steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Winamac is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Knox, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winamac will take on North Miami at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. North Miami will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Winamac surely won't give up without a fight. As for Knox, they will face off against Tippecanoe Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
