Abingdon/Avon had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Galva Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tornadoes also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Abingdon/Avon never let Galva on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20.

Taylor Hendel paced Abingdon/Avon's offense, picking up four kills. Hendel got some help from Vivian Bigger and her ten assists. Miya Alderson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Abingdon/Avon's record is now 6-27. As for Galva, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 16 of their last 17 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-20 record this season.
