Baseball Recap: Alonso Ravens vs. Windermere Wolverines

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Alonso had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Windermere Wolverines. The Ravens not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 19th (when they won 14-6).

Alonso got a great performance from Julian Batista as he tossed 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, Samuel Fernandez was a standout: he went 2-for-5 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryan Alonso, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Alonso always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Windermere only posted an OBP of .387.
