Football Recap: Briggsdale Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Briggsdale had taken Peetz down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Falcons took a blow against the Bulldogs, falling 60-6. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Bulldogs are ranked seventh).

Despite the loss, Briggsdale still got an impressive performance from Val Alvarez, who rushed for 51 yards on only six carries, and also caught one touchdown.

Briggsdale dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Peetz, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Briggsdale will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Otis at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Peetz, they have already played their next contest, a 50-20 victory against Arickaree on the 26th.
